Tumbler Ridge Part of the BC Adventure Network. Over 5 million web site visitors annually !

Tumbler Ridge is one of B.C.'s newest towns, it was incorporated in 1981, and does not have the typical instant-town look, due to good planning.

This town was built to provide a home and community to the employees and families who work at the two big mines. The building and development of Tumbler Ridge and transportation facilities was B.C.'s largest industrial endeavor. Tumbler Ridge is on a plateau, with the Wolverine, Murray and Flatbed Rivers nearby, and is surrounded by mountains, forests and rolling hills. Facilities are all close to the town centre and the modern services are enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.
